Past Program Horse

Peanut

Now that our fall riding sessions are complete we are officially retiring our lesson horse Peanut from the program. Peanut has touched the lives of so many students, families, and volunteers thru his gentleness and desire to please his people. He has been the biggest blessing to Riding For Dreams Adaptive Riding for so many years. He is one of those horses that can see a persons soul and seems to have an understanding and ability to meet people where they are. We are so thankful to his previous owner Wanda Gage for sharing peanut with us since 2018. Peanut will live out his retirement being cared for and loved, we always have the horses best interests in mind and let them tell us when they are ready to retire and he is telling us it is his time to be done riding. We would love it if past students, volunteers, and families that have interacted with Peanut leave photos or comments on this thread to share the memories!

While time will fade, these hoofprints… the ones left on your heart… will never disappear.
